Not to be overlooked as a prime location for your next major MEGA gala, the L-shaped, Trinkle Center is a BRAND NEW option for large scale events in Hillsborough County. A short drive from Tampa right off the Park Road Exit 22 of I-4, the center offers almost 30,000 square feet of event space.
With the ability to be split into seven rooms of varying sizes, the Trinkle Center is a great conference or all-day sales meeting venue for up to 400-500 attendees. Its Room 100, offers 12,000 sq. ft. of modern, unobstructed floor space and can seat 800 guests at round tables with large dance floor. Smaller rooms can be transformed into pre-reception or silent auction areas.
An adjoining outdoor area offers additional space for food stations, canopy seating clusters, or social hour mingling in a woode setting. Its maximum capacity for events is:
2,400 in an auditorium setting
1,600 in banquet-style seating
Portable staging can create a performance area and roll-up doors allow easy loading and unloading for even tractor trailers.

The Downside:
Although it has an inviting entry and lobby area, the event space(s), no matter how small, need lots of decorating. Plan on spending in this area of your budget with special effects lighting, floor to ceiling fixtures, etc.

HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF THIS VENUE
Go in with a themed decor plan. This will help you design your guest seating around large room decorations. If one big room is too overwhelming, consider splitting your event areas into four sections, the largest being your main seating and entertainament area. Casino tables, silent auction and dessert room, for instance can keep the guests interested in exploring other area and minimize the amount of decorating you do in the main seating area.

The Palmetto Club
Located at Fishhawk Ranch in Riverview, the Club is one of the most formidable venues available in the Tampa Bay area.
With the utmost in amenities, the club is well worth the trip south on I-75 past Brandon.
The main ballroom can be divided into smaller areas and management is steadfast in its guarantee to hold only one event during one of two Saturday time periods. Basic rental cost is $3600 for the whole place including a Key West style verandah.
The lush green garden courtyard would put any other outdoor ceremony location to shame with its "fountain wall" as the backdrop.
A fan-laden terrace offers repose and a peaceful view of the couryard.
With outside alcohol permitted with proper liquor liability requirements met, The Palmetto Club is a most elegant option for any event of 150 to 300 guests.
THE DOWNSIDE:
For Brandon, Riverview, and Bradenton residents, this is a great "neighborhood" location. If you are making the drive from Tampa, may is a long stretch of one and two-lane traffic once off I-75 at Riverview.
There are no nearby hotels but there is a nice bed and breakfast within five miles.
Also, reserve for the ENTIRE DAY to assure that you have total access. Two hours of set-up for an evening event OR one hour breakdown for a midday one, is just not enough time.
You don't need much at the Palmetto Club as the decor is already in place. For larger fund-raisers, utilize every square inch of the facility including a tented lawn area for silent auction and specialized entertainment.
